Gaztea Valensuela really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Gaztea Valensuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keith Caputo to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, one of C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL. In the 22nd match minute, C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Montxo to maneuver through the defense. If Gaztea Valensuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaztea Valensuela got free with Eliseo Eneko in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Gaztea Valensuela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL booed when Peñitas Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Cordareo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL's Astor Mendebal was substituted for Isidro Eztebe. Amancio Hori kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Peñitas Futbol Club defense, Rafael Ioritz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Eneko. The Peñitas Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Eneko should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
