Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rivadavia's Zacarias Chinto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cipriano Baraquiel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Quirze went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Laurent Verhaghe might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cipriano Baraquiel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurent Verhaghe ran back to his position shaking his head. After 7 minutes of play, Fran Juniors's Benito Quirze made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cipriano Baraquiel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Rivadavia's Timoteo Quexal got a free kick in the 12th minute. Rivadavia's Cipriano Baraquiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurent Verhaghe in the 13th minute of play. Fran Juniors's Saturnino Peru got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Rivadavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Chinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Benito Quirze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipriano Baraquiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdis Skalbergs in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Serafin Selatse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdis Skalbergs struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Cipriano Baraquiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fran Juniors. Cipriano Baraquiel came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Fran Juniors's Benito Quirze. But to his dismay, Benito Quirze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Cipriano Baraquiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurent Verhaghe in the 35th minute of the match. Benito Quirze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cipriano Baraquiel having to make a save. When Fran Juniors's Valdis Skalbergs in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rivadavia's goalie prevented a goal. Zacarias Chinto in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angel Ramone, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurent Verhaghe got free with Cipriano Baraquiel in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cipriano Baraquiel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Fe went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Rivadavia's goalkeeper Cipriano Baraquiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdis Skalbergs. With a little luck, Rivadavia's Cipriano Baraquiel got control of the ball when Valdis Skalbergs tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Fran Juniors's Laurent Verhaghe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The Fran Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Fran Juniors's Benito Quirze looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Fran Juniors booed when Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Benito Quirze reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cipriano Baraquiel. The goal made the score 0-8. Valdis Skalbergs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Baraquiel having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Valdis Skalbergs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cipriano Baraquiel. Rivadavia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdis Skalbergs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Cipriano Baraquiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdis Skalbergs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fran Juniors's Benito Quirze was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Valdis Skalbergs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Baraquiel was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Fran Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rivadavia.
