The crowd rose to their feet as Golden Team's Valentin Abadie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pastor Bakar. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. In the 9th minute, Ildefonso Frederico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastor Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tauren F.C's Pastor Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Abadie in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Laureano Ekain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tauren F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Team the free kick. After 25 minutes of play, Golden Team's Fernan Taurino made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Bakar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laureano Ekain was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Tauren F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Laureano Ekain hit a great ball. Tauren F.C's Achim Meier got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Achim Meier notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Golden Team's 狄宁朋. 狄宁朋 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernan Taurino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Semen Mironenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Bakar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Semen Mironenko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute Semen Mironenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Team's goalkeeper 狄宁朋, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ildefonso Fredericos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got 狄宁朋 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valentin Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pastor Bakar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Bakar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Abadie went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Pastor Bakar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Taurino's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. If Aurelio Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Gonza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Fernan Taurino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Bakar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 86th minute Silvano Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tauren F.C's Pastor Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Taurino in the 90th minute of play. Valentin Abadie scored 6-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Bakar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Golden Team were the better team. Golden Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
