In the 7th minute, Aquiles Lon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carter Cardella was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Carter Cardella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Lon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Leones Libertarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Carter Cardella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliciano Raitin went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Aquiles Lon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lapachito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The supporters of Lapachito booed when Leones Libertarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bert Moquin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Bert Moquin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones Libertarios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapachito the free kick. Bert Moquin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Carter Cardella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Lon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Feliciano Raitin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Incendio during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carter Cardella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 高雄默, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Aquiles Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Cardella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Aquiles Lon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carter Cardella. Leones Libertarios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Lon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeronimo Montrell to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Lapachito's Aquiles Lon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carter Cardella. That made the score 0-6 after 57 minutes of play. When Karol Zahemski fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lapachito's protests and gave Karol Zahemski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Leones Libertarios booed when Lapachito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Zahemski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Montrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Carter Cardella made a huge save. After 64 played minutes Leones Libertarios got a freekick which was hit by Bert Moquin. In the 66th minute, Hilario Llanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aquiles Lon came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Lapachito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Lon couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Lapachito's Aquiles Lon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Lon in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carter Cardella saved Leones Libertarios from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Leones Libertarios's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Lon came free, but Carter Cardella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carter Cardella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Lon in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Lapachito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leones Libertarios throughout the match.
