The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filiberto Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Filiberto Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Benvido in the 13th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Florencia F.C.'s Aquiles Aragones made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiberto Llope was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 minutes of play, Florencia F.C.'s Severino Froylan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. El Ciclón Manda's Filiberto Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Aragones in the 22nd minute of play. Filiberto Llope came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Florencia F.C.'s Severino Froylan. But to his dismay, Severino Froylan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Cuartio during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes El Ciclón Manda got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Cuartio. Germán Burgos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Florencia F.C.'s Eloy Veremundo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiberto Llope was left in no man's land by his defense there! Severino Froylan struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Filiberto Llope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florencia F.C.. Tadeo Honrio's late challenge caught a El Ciclón Manda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Honrio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Florencia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Honrio to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Nofre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severino Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Llope was a little too slow when Everardo Benvido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-9. Filiberto Llope was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Everardo Benvido capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Everardo Benvido really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Arsenio Lander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Urki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Tadeo Honrio got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Florencia F.C.'s Tadeo Honrio got a free kick in the 77th minute. El Ciclón Manda's Filiberto Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Aragones in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Florencia F.C.'s Eloy Veremundo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filiberto Llope. That made the score 0-12 after 85 minutes of play. In the 90th minute, Everardo Benvido reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filiberto Llope. The goal made the score 0-13. Filiberto Llope made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Aquiles Aragones sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Aquiles Aragones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Llope was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-14. Florencia F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
