In the 16th minute, Hermengildo Firman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Burzaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Arnau in the 21st minute of play forced Sepulturas FC's goalkeeper Hipolito Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Saverio Mantzio fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sepulturas FC's protests and gave Saverio Mantzio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sepulturas FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Saverio Mantzio hit a great ball. After 32 minutes of play, Club Atlético Burzaco's Fausto Arnau made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hipolito Francho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th match minute, Sepulturas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Burzaco's Martin Celipe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Burzaco from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Hipolito Francho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sepulturas FC's Hipolito Francho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Sepulturas FC from getting a goal against them. Hipolito Francho came out and tried to block the shot, but Fausto Arnau slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 87th minute. Fausto Arnau took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Francho. Hipolito Francho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. 94 minutes into the match, Sepulturas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Firman came free, but Hipolito Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sepulturas FC's Cristian Sayvion got a free kick in the 95th minute. Hipolito Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Firman in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Burzaco left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sepulturas FC.
