ElTeamPa's Arnaldo Mikelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Bernad in the 8th minute of play. Medanito's Julian Orkatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Medanito from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Florinio got free with Julian Orkatz in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Godfredo Bernad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Mikelar was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Medanito's Godfredo Bernad got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Godfredo Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Godfredo Bernad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Godfredo Bernad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medanito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arnaldo Mikelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Bernad in the 35th minute of the match. Arnaldo Mikelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Ferrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Godfredo Bernad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medanito's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Bernad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Mikelar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 42 minutes, Godfredo Bernad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medanito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Bernad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Xabat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ElTeamPa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medanito the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfredo Bernad was the one to do the kick off. Godfredo Bernad might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Mikelar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Bernad ran back to his position shaking his head. Constantino Mikeldi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Phelipe in the 70th minute of play forced Medanito's goalkeeper Julian Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Zeledon Conrao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medanito's Julian Orkatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julian Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Phelipe, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Godfredo Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Mikelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Bernad in the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Sergio Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot. ElTeamPa's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Florinio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Orkatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Florinio in the 93rd minute of play forced Medanito's goalkeeper Julian Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ElTeamPa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Medanito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
