In the 20th match minute, Deportes 4 de junio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Mino to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Mugur Chiriac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Chiriac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Ciriaco Txordon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 27 minutes into the game, Alfonso Goicoechea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ciriaco Txordon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Deportes 4 de junio's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Nevada came free, but Ciriaco Txordon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Oso came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Benigno Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 97 minutes into the match, Alfonso Goicoechea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Txordon. Deportes 4 de junio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Goicoechea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Club Atlético Atlanta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
