Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute of the match Amos Fabiani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nunez Distiratsu skillfully saved the ball. Nunez Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Sol in the 8th minute of the match. Nunez Distiratsu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nemesio Sol went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Nemesio Sol came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hidrocarburo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Sol couldn't finish the play. Lucas Bartoleme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Eneto kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Amos Fabiani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nunez Distiratsu. C.A. Independiente's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nunez Distiratsu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Hidrocarburo FC's Nicodim Mangra. But to his dismay, Nicodim Mangra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20th minute Nemesio Sol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, C.A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Gaztea to maneuver through the defense. Amos Fabiani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nunez Distiratsu having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Kahlil Suwandi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of C.A. Independiente's Nunez Distiratsu. Nunez Distiratsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicodim Mangra in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nunez Distiratsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kahlil Suwandi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nunez Distiratsu having to make a save. Kauno Pirnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Onofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Sol was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Nemesio Sol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geronimo Eneto hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, Nicodim Mangra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nunez Distiratsu. Nicodim Mangra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Nicodim Mangra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the match was over Hidrocarburo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A. Independiente throughout the match.
