Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The CBD Athletic fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when CBD Athletic's Eduardo Filipo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 7th minute, Ezequiel Enetz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicasio Ospetsu. The goal made the score 2-0. 11 minutes into the match, C.D. La Equidad Futbol's goalkeeper Nicasio Ospetsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Filipo. In the 13th minute, Benjamin Noe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Filipo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 14thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Nicasio Ospetsu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 16th minute, CBD Athletic's Eulalio Bilintx seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eulalio Bilintx the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CBD Athletic protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eulalio Bilintx had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to C.D. La Equidad Futbol getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Maximino Kaxen hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, CBD Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Sfetcu to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Brieba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Pacifico in the 21st minute of the match. C.D. La Equidad Futbol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Noe in the 24th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Teodoro Mendiko heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Nicasio Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Librado in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Marin Sfetcu took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Nicasio Ospetsu to make any attempt to save it. Silvestre Lauren struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Nicasio Ospetsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CBD Athletic. Silvestre Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marin Sfetcu fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CBD Athletic's protests and gave Marin Sfetcu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.D. La Equidad Futbol booed when CBD Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Sfetcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Filipo was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Oscar Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CBD Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Librado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Pacifico in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Brieba saved CBD Athletic from getting behind. After 58 minutes CBD Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benjamin Noe who took care of the corner kick. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by CBD Athletic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benjamin Noe was slow to take the kick. During this time C.D. La Equidad Futbol's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on C.D. La Equidad Futbol's corner Benjamin Noe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cornelio Brieba quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Eduardo Filipo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.D. La Equidad Futbol's Nicasio Ospetsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicasio Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Filipo in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.D. La Equidad Futbol's zone, Marin Sfetcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Ospetsu came out of the goal and Marin Sfetcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicasio Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Filipo in the 74th minute of play. Eduardo Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Ospetsu having to interfere. CBD Athletic's Marin Sfetcu got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Filipo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Ospetsu was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Cornelio Brieba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Brieba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Pacifico in the 92nd minute of the match. CBD Athletic's Cornelio Brieba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Montrelle in the 96th minute of play. CBD Athletic walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
