ElTeamPa's Arnaldo Mikelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Enetz in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Enetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Mikelar was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Zeledon Conrao came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cornelio Brieba could save by the left post. Arnaldo Mikelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Enetz in the 13th minute of the match. CBD Athletic's Cornelio Brieba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save CBD Athletic from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Roman Procopio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Enetz scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Mikelar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute Eduardo Filipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Macario charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Macario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes ElTeamPa got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Macario. If Eduardo Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Eduardo Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CBD Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Filipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Eduardo Filipo made the kick off in the second half. Celedonio Beat's late challenge caught a CBD Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Beat helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CBD Athletic booed when ElTeamPa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Reynaldo Xabat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Filipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ElTeamPa's Arnaldo Mikelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Enetz in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Filipo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Mikelar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Hibai hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Adrian Macario hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Eduardo Filipo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo Mikelar came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardo Filipo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 70th minute. Cornelio Brieba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Florinio in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, ElTeamPa's goalkeeper Arnaldo Mikelar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Filipo. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CBD Athletic walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
