Sergey Filippov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Barea in the 21st minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Oviedo to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, La Matanza Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Barea came free, but Sergey Filippov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Vincent in the 56th minute of play forced La Matanza Club's goalkeeper Sergey Filippov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Marciano Roano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiberto Lucian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marciano Roano came free in the 62nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Filiberto Lucian, but to the joy of Sayaco's supporters the ball went over. After 64 played minutes Sayaco got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Rodriguez. In the 66th minute, Romeo Petruț ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Lucian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 68th minute, Ermegildo Barea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergey Filippov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Barea in the 71st minute of play. Ermegildo Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sergey Filippov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Sayaco got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Ariando. Filiberto Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Petruț in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Matanza Club's Humberto Iraitz got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ermegildo Barea took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergey Filippov. Sergey Filippov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Sergey Filippov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Rodriguez got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of La Matanza Club booed when Sayaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Lucian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Oviedo in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Matanza Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sayaco.
