After some careless play in the La Matanza Club defense, Zack Levine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergey Filippov. The La Matanza Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergey Filippov should have stopped the shot. The Villaguay AFC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Villaguay AFC's Andres Galindo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute Zack Levine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergey Filippov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Eduino hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Villaguay AFC's Andres Galindo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Matanza Club's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Matanza Club's goalkeeper Sergey Filippov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Markos Michalakos scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergey Filippov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Galindo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergey Filippov saved La Matanza Club from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Andres Galindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergey Filippov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Sergey Filippov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Galindo in the 33rd minute of the match. Sergey Filippov came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaguay AFC's Zack Levine. But to his dismay, Zack Levine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Andres Galindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergey Filippov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Markos Michalakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villaguay AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markos Michalakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 minutes, Guido Šuler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Matanza Club and the Villaguay AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guido Šuler kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Horacio Carbonari hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. La Matanza Club's Marciano Roano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcelo Olivar but with some difficulty. After some careless play in the La Matanza Club defense, Andres Galindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergey Filippov. The La Matanza Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergey Filippov should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

La Matanza Club's Sergey Filippov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Carbonari in the 58th minute of play. Sergey Filippov was a little too slow when Andres Galindo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-11. After 69 minutes La Matanza Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfonso Franquesa who took care of the corner kick. If Horacio Carbonari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markos Michalakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergey Filippov came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaguay AFC's Andres Galindo. But to his dismay, Andres Galindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Sergey Filippov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Levine, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Markos Michalakos scored 0-14 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergey Filippov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Villaguay AFC's Wilfredo Oro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. Villaguay AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
