The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sigvard Vase during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Peyo Kaadekilde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Baldomero Sugar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peyo Kaadekilde having to make a save. Celedonio Bernebe's late challenge caught a Paso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Bernebe helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes La Banda del Tinto got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Bernebe. Peyo Kaadekilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Estevon in the 59th minute of play. Elpidio Ekialde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigvard Vase went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After 65 played minutes La Banda del Tinto got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Vase. La Banda del Tinto's Peyo Kaadekilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Estevon in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, La Banda del Tinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Bernebe to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Paso FC booed when La Banda del Tinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qani Ren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paso FC's Elpidio Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Paiva in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Paiva in the 82nd minute of play forced Paso FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Sigvard Vase quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Elpidio Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Paiva in the 96th minute of play. La Banda del Tinto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
