Tiburcio Ishmael did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Jesus Fernado 37 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Las Brujitas de Verón's goalkeeper Jesus Fernado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Nalo. Pumas Fútbol Club's Ezequiel Jenaro got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Agustin Nalo made the kick off in the second half.
