In the 33rdth minute of the game Teobald Galagan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sol Naciente's Fausto Sidoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leon Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Csiszár in the 36th minute of play. Fausto Sidoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobald Galagan's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Fausto Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Macario, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Teobald Galagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fausto Sidoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Teobald Galagan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 95th minute, Froilan Macario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Argentinos Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
