Denílson Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Goren went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 6 minutes into the match, Urusmayo's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Goren came free, but Denílson Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, Mario Goren made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Urusmayo's Denílson Vargas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute Yağız Akboğa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-3 became the score in the 16th minute when Victoriano Orlin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Mario Goren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denílson Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Pearson FC's Carlos Croissant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Pearson FC from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute Mario Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Urusmayo's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Orlin came free, but Denílson Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Mario Goren notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Urusmayo's Denílson Vargas. Denílson Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Croissant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from La Madeja. The supporters of Urusmayo booed when Pearson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Shepherd didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match La Madeja sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Croissant skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Croissant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Denílson Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Jeraldo in the 44th minute of play. If La Madeja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağız Akboğa in the 51st minute of play forced Urusmayo's goalkeeper Denílson Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Gartxot scored 2-5 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Croissant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Goren got free with Denílson Vargas in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denílson Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Goren, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yağız Akboğa in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denílson Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Delmar Gartxot made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Croissant. Pearson FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. 67 minutes into the match, Urusmayo's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Goren came free, but Denílson Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urusmayo's Denílson Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Urusmayo from getting a goal against them. Lisandro Ticho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Carlos Croissant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Lisandro Ticho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pearson FC's Carlos Croissant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honorato Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Gavino Mel charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Mel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Urusmayo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. La Madeja hit a great ball. Carlos Croissant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Gartxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Croissant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Gartxot in the 88th minute of play. Carlos Croissant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Ticho in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Lisandro Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Croissant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Pearson FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Urusmayo.
