In the 23rd minute Geronimo Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Ceandro's late challenge caught a C.A.COLON DE SANTA FE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Donio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geronimo Viviano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 40 minute of play. Ceferino Geleberto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Cefero made a kick off. Ermegildo Cefero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute.
