The referee gave SAN TELMO FC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Israel Silbestre, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Naranja Oxidada SA's Honorato Ermengol. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berndt Hvitved got free with Laureano Mikelats in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florentino Orlandus to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SAN TELMO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berndt Hvitved came free, but Laureano Mikelats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Cedro in the 53rd minute of play. SAN TELMO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Francesco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 71 minutes into the game, Victor Cedro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Laureano Mikelats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stasio Kalinowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Mikelats having to interfere. In the 81st minute of the match, Florentino Orlandus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Honorato Ermengol saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Baltasar Naelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Laureano Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berndt Hvitved in the 89th minute of play. Honorato Ermengol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Orlandus in the 96th minute of play. Laureano Mikelats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berndt Hvitved, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. La Naranja Oxidada SA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
