In the 19th minute, one of Fracrán AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fracrán AFC. Laureano Ganix placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a defensive mix-up in Peyrano FC's zone, Adan Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Sabin came out of the goal and Adan Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Elorri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Jobo was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Lino Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Montae in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Fracrán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Soter. Delmiro Montae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Jobo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Anier Leoiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Sabin was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After 46 played minutes Peyrano FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Aurre. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruperto Elorri was the one to do the kick off.
