A collision led to Snake FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Serafino Richie hit a great ball. Federico Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes Vélez Fútbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafino Richie who took care of the corner kick. Serafino Richie made a great header on Snake FC's corner, it was just that Vélez Fútbol Club's Placido Jaunzuria managed to reach the ball for a save. Placido Jaunzuria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Illan in the 33rd minute of the match. Bernardino Lucero might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Jaunzuria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardino Lucero ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Placido Jaunzuria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 44th minute, Federico Illan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Snake FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardino Lucero was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Snake FC were awarded a corner. Serafino Richie went to the cornerflag to take it. Snake FC's Pratik Foder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Placido Jaunzuria in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Federico Illan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Jaunzuria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Vélez Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Lucero came free, but Placido Jaunzuria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Snake FC were awarded a corner. Serafino Richie went to the cornerflag to take it. A sloppy throw-in by Robustiano Blai in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Snake FC's Severo Eduino. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ignacio Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vélez Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Colas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Jaunzuria having to interfere. Snake FC's Guillermo Colas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Snake FC from getting a goal against them. Zacarias Evangelista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Guillermo Colas made a huge save. Mauricio Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Colas having to interfere. In the 86th minute Federico Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vélez Fútbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafino Richie was slow to take the kick. During this time Snake FC's players had a chance to rest. Snake FC's Severo Eduino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Placido Jaunzuria in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Vélez Fútbol Club's Hernan Dantae in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Many of Vélez Fútbol Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Vélez Fútbol Club may have spent more time on the ball, but Snake FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
