The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With splendid footwork Paulino Ekhi arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Nafarroa got free with Jesus Abella in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, EL BAR DE MOE!!'s Carolo Precioso got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Paulino Ekhi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Abella was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Paulino Ekhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Lisandro Nafarroa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesus Abella. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 27th minute, Paulino Ekhi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Abella was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Paulino Ekhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jesus Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Lisandro Nafarroa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 39 minutes, Lisandro Nafarroa made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. EL BAR DE MOE!!'s Jesus Abella tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulino Ekhi kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot EL BAR DE MOE!!'s keeper Jesus Abella was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A collision led to EL BAR DE MOE!! getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rafael Tercero hit a great ball. EL BAR DE MOE!!'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Lisandro Nafarroa scored to the left of an out of position Jesus Abella, making the score, 8-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The wind increased when Astor Goyo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in EL BAR DE MOE!!'s zone, Lisandro Nafarroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Abella came out of the goal and Lisandro Nafarroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 minutes, Matias Urdin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL BAR DE MOE!! and the Monsalvo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Monsalvo's Teobaldo Montrell was substituted for Lisandro Nafarroa. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of EL BAR DE MOE!!:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monsalvo:s goal. When Monsalvo's Teobaldo Montrell in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EL BAR DE MOE!!'s goalie prevented a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Paulino Ekhi notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of EL BAR DE MOE!!'s Jesus Abella. Jesus Abella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Paulino Ekhi put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jesus Abella. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Teobaldo Montrell put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jesus Abella. After 79 minutes of play, Monsalvo's Paulino Ekhi made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Abella was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jesus Abella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Ekhi went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Teobaldo Montrell sped through EL BAR DE MOE!!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesus Abella. The Monsalvo fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Monsalvo's Teobaldo Montrell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 15-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 94 minutes, Teobaldo Montrell made it 16-0 with a short kick to the right side. EL BAR DE MOE!!'s Jesus Abella tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Paulino Ekhi put it in 17-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jesus Abella. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Monsalvo had played much better football throughout.
