The Talleres FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Formerio should have stopped the shot. After 11 minutes, Paulino Ekhi made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Talleres FC's Ruben Formerio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruben Formerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Ekhi in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Ekhi in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Formerio saved Talleres FC from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Zeledon Leoiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Formerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Zeledon Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monsalvo's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Leoiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Formerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Formerio stood somewhat misplaced when Paulino Ekhi came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. Ruben Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Nafarroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Joel Gaitan made the kick off in the second half. Ruben Formerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Nafarroa went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Paulino Ekhi sped through Talleres FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruben Formerio. After 64 minutes of play, Monsalvo's Lisandro Nafarroa made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Formerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Teobaldo Montrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Paulino Ekhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Formerio was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Rodrigo Maties hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Talleres FC's Saturnino Dolfos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Monsalvo had played much better football throughout.
