Spectators: 7400 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 55) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Everardo Gaizkine started the match with the kick off. Mario Txindoki stood somewhat misplaced when Rodrigo Palacios came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. In the 11th minute of the match, Rodrigo Palacios tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mario Txindoki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Gaizkine in the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, UltraMillonarios's Mario Txindoki got control of the ball when Rodrigo Palacios tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, UltraMillonarios's Everardo Gaizkine got a free kick in the 17th minute. Mario Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Bela in the 20th minute. In the 45th minute, Benedicto Cordaryal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 53rd minute, Rodrigo Palacios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeu Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate having to make a save. In the 58th minute of the match UltraMillonarios got a corner. Miami Tropics Sun's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franko Baresi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Franko Baresi made a great header on UltraMillonarios's corner, it was just that Miami Tropics Sun's Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate managed to reach the ball for a save. When Rodrigo Palacios came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Miami Tropics Sun fans jumped to their feet. If Rodrigo Palacios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Miami Tropics Sun's Rodrigo Palacios made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Txindoki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Everardo Gaizkine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Many of UltraMillonarios's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. UltraMillonarios may have spent more time on the ball, but Miami Tropics Sun were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
