Felipe Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Cristofol in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, C.A.RIVER PLATE's Julio Cristofol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Markel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Cristofol to make the kick off. If Nuno Carmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crispin Stichler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Felipe Markel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Julio Cristofol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Markel was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the game, Julio Cristofol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Felipe Markel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Constantino Oskarbi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Almacén San Jose booed when C.A.RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Carmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, C.A.RIVER PLATE's Julio Cristofol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felipe Markel. Felipe Markel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. Nuno Carmo took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Markel. Felipe Markel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Crispin Stichler in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Markel saved Almacén San Jose from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Crispin Stichler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Markel. Almacén San Jose's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Crispin Stichler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Julio Cristofol put it in 0-16 from a short distance just to the right of Felipe Markel. Eugenio Orlandus hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Almacén San Jose fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A.RIVER PLATE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
