They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Karlo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zacarias Salvator was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Florencio Karlo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florencio Karlo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When Evelio Oxel came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Esquel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Oxel couldn't finish the play. After having played for 58 minutes, Jonas Storey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colegiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Storey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damon Boatman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Salvator having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colegiales's Damon Boatman got a free kick in the 94th minute. Colegiales's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
