After a rather tough play, Polvaredas FC's Osvaldo Baleren got a free kick in the 7th minute. Leandro Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Chucho Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Del Santo FC's Karl-Ove Rolfsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Ranolfo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Karl-Ove Rolfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Golaszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Polvaredas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chucho Cortez came free, but Nereo Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Ove Rolfsson in the 34th minute. Nereo Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Abel Txaran made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Polvaredas FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Dolfo. Nereo Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chucho Cortez in the 55th minute of play. Del Santo FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Polvaredas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teo Jerardo took the corner. In the 59thth minute of the game Karl-Ove Rolfsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polvaredas FC's Nereo Ranolfo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Leandro Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Polvaredas FC's Simon Sidro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Simon Sidro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Polvaredas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Simon Sidro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The audience was convinced that Karl-Ove Rolfsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Ranolfo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Chucho Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Karl-Ove Rolfsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Del Santo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When Lucjan Golaszewski came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Del Santo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Golaszewski couldn't finish the play. Nereo Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chucho Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chucho Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Chucho Cortez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polvaredas FC's Nereo Ranolfo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Polvaredas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chucho Cortez came free, but Nereo Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
