Nereo Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Esquel's zone, Abel Txaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Salvator came out of the goal and Abel Txaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Txaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esquel's Zacarias Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Ourente in the 44th minute of play. Zacarias Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Ourente, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Txaran made a kick off. After 76 minutes of play, Polvaredas FC's Fabio Ourente made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Salvator was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Florentino Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th play minute Fabio Ourente came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zacarias Salvator. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Txaran in the 87th minute of play forced Esquel's goalkeeper Zacarias Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Abel Txaran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Polvaredas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
