In the 8th minute, Tiburcio Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Abella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernabe Manilan having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Peio during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernabe Manilan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Eguntsenti in the 13th minute. Blas Eguntsenti struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bernabe Manilan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yei Pora. In the 29th minute Aurelio Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yei Pora's Victor Pereyra got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Tiburcio Burni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Cordeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Cassidy Nelson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernabe Manilan. The goal made the score 1-1. Erubiel Quintin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yei Pora had played much better football throughout.
