Ramiro Cordaryal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Paulino Gorosti 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Cordaryal in the 14th minute of play forced EQUUS F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulino Gorosti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Mon in the 18th minute of play. Ramiro Cordaryal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulino Gorosti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Cordaryal in the 21st minute. When Emanuel Osorio fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EQUUS F.C.'s protests and gave Emanuel Osorio a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Gilen got free with Paulino Gorosti in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of EQUUS F.C. booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Hustaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Independiente Rivadavia's Ramiro Cordaryal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Paulino Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Cordaryal in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Ramiro Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute, Ramiro Cordaryal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Gorosti was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Paulino Gorosti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Cordaryal in the 78th minute of the match. Independiente Rivadavia's Ramiro Cordaryal got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Mateo Pacorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ramiro Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Cordaryal in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Gorosti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Independiente Rivadavia's Teo Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Osorio in the 88th minute of play. Paulino Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Cordaryal in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Cordaryal in the 94th minute of play forced EQUUS F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulino Gorosti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
