When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Esteban Larra sped through Puerto Unidos Sur's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauricio Fidele. 6 minutes into the match, Carlos Bras notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Puerto Unidos Sur's Mauricio Fidele. Mauricio Fidele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 9 played minutes Puerto Unidos Sur got a freekick which was hit by Joel Misael. The referee showed Honorio Rodriguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Honorio Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Éloi Théodore came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Puerto Unidos Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Éloi Théodore couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Churqui AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Siro Tino hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 狄星凌 to strike the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, Puerto Unidos Sur's 狄星凌 tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Manuel Ermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Orland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Fidele having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Puerto Unidos Sur's zone, Carlos Bras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Fidele came out of the goal and Carlos Bras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Churqui AFC's Manuel Ermano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄星凌 in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Churqui AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Ofelio. 97 minutes into the match, Churqui AFC's goal looked a bit too open when 狄星凌 came free, but Manuel Ermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Puerto Unidos Sur's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
