He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, EQUUS F.C.'s Paulino Gorosti got control of the ball when Hilario Gilesindo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cleto Jaume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Gorosti having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Chavarría 's Hilario Gilesindo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulino Gorosti. That made the score 4-0 after 38 minutes of play. After 43 played minutes, Chavarría 's Placido Flores shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulino Gorosti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chavarría reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariusz Majtyka during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of EQUUS F.C. booed when Chavarría was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Majtyka didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The wind increased when Cleto Jaume made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cleto Jaume notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of EQUUS F.C.'s Paulino Gorosti. Paulino Gorosti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Cleto Jaume made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Gorosti. EQUUS F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, one of Chavarría :s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hilario Gilesindo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Paulino Gorosti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chavarría . After having played for 83 minutes, Eli Laredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chavarría 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eli Laredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chavarría 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Gilesindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 minutes, Leo Mon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EQUUS F.C. and the Chavarría players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chavarría booed when EQUUS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Mon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eli Laredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Gorosti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Chavarría were the better team. Chavarría 's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
