Teo Hartz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiambalá FC. In the 17th minute, Ruben Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Montrel Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiambalá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Montrel Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Gaztea got free with Teo Hartz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basilio Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Maju having to interfere. Daniel Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Montrel Marques dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teo Hartz, 1-0. A collision led to Independiente Rivadavia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Edelmiro Garin hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Independiente Rivadavia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ruben Gaztea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Basilio Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper Teo Hartz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Montrel Marques. In the 42nd minute, Nilson do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Gilen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Fiambalá FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobias Primo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tobias Primo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fiambalá FC's Eduardo Maju did a great save. After 55 minutes of play, Fiambalá FC's Montrel Marques made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Hartz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute Ghumer Klinsmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Edelmiro Garin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Independiente Rivadavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Garin to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Ruben Gaztea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teo Hartz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 70 played minutes Fiambalá FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Enetz. A sloppy throw-in by Serafino Havier in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Independiente Rivadavia's Inocencio Udalaitz. The supporters of Fiambalá FC booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Hustaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ruben Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Serafino Havier in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Independiente Rivadavia's Daniel Rafel. Basilio Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Maju having to interfere. Montrel Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Gaztea in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fiambalá FC fully deserved thier win.
