Prudencio Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Prudencio Duarte came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by ZAKE's Ambrosio Dacio. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Dacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Prudencio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Egun in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Egun in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prudencio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özer Ballı in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Ferran made a kick off. Prudencio Duarte made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Özer Ballı sent off a good shot on target. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victorino Eguns short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Prudencio Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victorino Egun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Duarte having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Özer Ballı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente Avellaneda's Prudencio Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Özer Ballı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Segundo Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
