Froilan Ipars short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Prudencio Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maxim Zbughină received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Prudencio Duarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Maxim Zbughină slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Beti in the 23rd minute of play forced Meseta FC's goalkeeper Ceferino Oskarbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Independiente Avellaneda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Goyo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mauro Berriotxoa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Independiente Avellaneda's Segundo Ferran made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceferino Oskarbi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Goyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Duarte having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Independiente Avellaneda's Joel Beti got a free kick in the 37th minute. Meseta FC's Froilan Ipar got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Meseta FC's Prudencio Duarte threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Aresti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Ipar got free with Prudencio Duarte in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Ferran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Indartsu in the 56th minute of play forced Meseta FC's goalkeeper Ceferino Oskarbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meseta FC's Ceferino Oskarbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Ferran in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Tomas Goyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tomas Goyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Prudencio Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Froilan Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Meseta FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Meseta FC's Froilan Ipar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente Avellaneda's zone, Froilan Ipar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Duarte came out of the goal and Froilan Ipar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Indartsu in the 79th minute of play forced Meseta FC's goalkeeper Ceferino Oskarbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Froilan Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Tomas Goyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meseta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Goyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Independiente Avellaneda's Segundo Ferran was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Meseta FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
