But to his dismay, Luciano Bastiaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pedro Etxahun scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Ereinotz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramon Lohitzun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Kochowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind United Legends's goalkeeper Alfred Kochowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rolando Maraman came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Hijos del Patriarcado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Maraman couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Etxahun during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, United Legends's Pedro Etxahun got a free kick in the 18th minute. Alfred Kochowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Lohitzun in the 21st minute of the match. United Legends's Alfred Kochowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save United Legends from getting a goal against them. Freddy Oto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Godoi in the 26th minute of play. Hugo Osmundo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Osmundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of United Legends booed when Hijos del Patriarcado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Bastiaro took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Ereinotz. Genaro Ereinotz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 34th minute Dieguinho Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Ereinotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hijos del Patriarcado defense, Dieguinho Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Ereinotz. The Hijos del Patriarcado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Ereinotz should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Melquiades Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. United Legends's Pedro Etxahun got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Pedro Etxahun off the ground. After 45 played minutes United Legends got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Etxahun. 46 minutes into the game, Freddy Oto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Alfred Kochowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Bastiaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Genaro Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Onbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Alfred Kochowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, United Legends was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Ereinotz made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Luciano Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the game, United Legends's Gavino Karlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Ereinotz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Hijos del Patriarcado's Genaro Ereinotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Onbera in the 65th minute of play. Genaro Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Onbera in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Bastiaro got free with Genaro Ereinotz in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genaro Ereinotz made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Luciano Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. Hijos del Patriarcado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Gavino Karlo scored to the left of an out of position Genaro Ereinotz, making the score, 1-8. When the match was over United Legends could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hijos del Patriarcado throughout the match.
