When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jimeno Peio sped through Hijos del Patriarcado's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genaro Ereinotz. Jimeno Peio scored 5-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Ereinotz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimeno Peio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Ereinotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Jimeno Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hijos del Patriarcado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River soldaty.
