Reynaldo Cambranes scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eleuterio Igon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Tiburcio Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Gorbea charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Gorbea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eleuterio Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Cambranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Reynaldo Cambranes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Igon having to make a save. Eleuterio Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Antonio Barrionuevo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xeneises F.C.'s protests and gave Antonio Barrionuevo a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Xeneises F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Barrionuevo. Domingo Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Lia in the 23rd minute of play. Eleuterio Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Eleuterio Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Shepherd in the 28th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Justo Shepherd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gordioro Futbol Club's Eleuterio Igon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Justo Shepherd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleuterio Igon was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 31st match minute, Gordioro Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Ortle to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Ixidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleuterio Igon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Xeneises F.C.'s Reynaldo Cambranes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Igon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Shepherd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Gordioro Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Gorbea hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Domingo Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Medero in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Xeneises F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Antonio Frutos hit a great ball. When Tiburcio Medero came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Gordioro Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Medero couldn't finish the play. After 76 minutes, Simon Manex mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xeneises F.C. and the Gordioro Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Xeneises F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Manex to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Lia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleuterio Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Gordioro Futbol Club defense, Justo Shepherd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Igon. The Gordioro Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Igon should have stopped the shot. Eleuterio Igon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Shepherd in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Xeneises F.C.'s Antonio Barrionuevo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Xeneises F.C.'s Domingo Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Medero in the 87th minute of play. Hugo Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Igon having to interfere. The supporters of Gordioro Futbol Club booed when Xeneises F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Breogan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Xeneises F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gordioro Futbol Club.
