Longchamps club's Sergio Longhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Egun in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, ZAKE's goalkeeper Basilio Ihazintu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Intxixu. With an all-out effort, Longchamps club's Basilio Ihazintu threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oscar Intxixu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 11th minute Eriberto Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Ihazintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the ZAKE defense, Eriberto Maiorga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Ihazintu. The ZAKE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Ihazintu should have stopped the shot. Basilio Ihazintu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Longchamps club's 彭榕威. But to his dismay, 彭榕威 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Eriberto Maiorga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Ihazintu. ZAKE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eriberto Maiorga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Eriberto Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longchamps club's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Maiorga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Ihazintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cidro Dorado hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Sergio Longhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özer Ballı, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 彭榕威's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Basilio Ihazintu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Basilio Ihazintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Admon in the 31st minute. Juan-Alfredo Verges hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Sergio Longhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Dacio in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Longchamps club getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. 彭榕威 hit a great ball. After 44 minutes ZAKE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaston Leoncio who took care of the corner kick. Basilio Ihazintu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Maiorga's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Maiorga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Eriberto Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Ihazintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Longchamps club's Oscar Intxixu got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Longchamps club's zone, Victorino Egun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Longhi came out of the goal and Victorino Egun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Ambrosio Dacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basilio Ihazintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 彭榕威, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 彭榕威 in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Ihazintu saved ZAKE from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Alan Barrionuevo took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Sergio Longhi to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Maiorga in the 87th minute of play forced ZAKE's goalkeeper Basilio Ihazintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Intxixu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Hernan Diaz put in a rough tackle. 93 minutes into the game, one of Longchamps club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Longchamps club:s Sergio Longhi showed great skill when he stopped Ambrosio Dacio:s penalty.
