Timoteo Estebe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 7th minute Timoteo Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club de la Serpiente's Timoteo Estebe got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Cienega AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Club de la Serpiente's Dé Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raimundo Playo. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Raimundo Playo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Cienega AFC's goalkeeper Raimundo Playo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Velasco. Eloy Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Raimundo Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Dé Santos took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Raimundo Playo to make any attempt to save it. 25 minutes into the match, Club de la Serpiente's Eloy Velasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Playo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timoteo Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anacleto Maju's late challenge caught a Club de la Serpiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Maju helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Cienega AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Maju. If Eloy Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cienega AFC's zone, Timoteo Estebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Playo came out of the goal and Timoteo Estebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Eloy Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club de la Serpiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Playo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Maju in the 40th minute of play forced Club de la Serpiente's goalkeeper Guaberto Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club de la Serpiente booed when Cienega AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Playo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dé Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. After 46 played minutes Club de la Serpiente got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Pacho. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
Candido Abeijon kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The Club de la Serpiente fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Club de la Serpiente's Americo Hanni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Timoteo Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Raimundo Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Timoteo Estebe sped through Cienega AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimundo Playo. Eloy Velasco took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Playo. Raimundo Playo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Club de la Serpiente's Anastasio Pacho got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raimundo Playo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Club de la Serpiente's Timoteo Estebe. But to his dismay, Timoteo Estebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 93rd minute, Eloy Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo Playo. Cienega AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Timoteo Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Raimundo Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
