It was a well-played corner which Rene Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Caitano got free with Tiburcio Irrintzi in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 minutes of play, Estrellas del Norte's Aloísio Matias made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Perfecto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiburcio Irrintzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Matias in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Perfecto saved Galporcho from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Estrellas del Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Deunoro came free, but Tiburcio Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Deunoro in the 61st minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Jens-Åke Snell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrellas del Norte's Tiburcio Irrintzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galporcho fully deserved thier win.
