Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adolfo Milian took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Vikingos got a freekick which was hit by Ilídio Lemos. 8 minutes into the game, Tomas Nuñez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lafontaine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikingos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lafontaine's Tomas Nuñez got a free kick in the 8th minute. Lafontaine's Modesto Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Laurin in the 11th minute of play. Adolfo Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Modesto Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Milian took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Efraim. Modesto Efraim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 19th minute, Adolfo Milian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modesto Efraim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lafontaine's Modesto Efraim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Lafontaine from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Lafontaine's Modesto Efraim got control of the ball when Eloy Nisio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Adolfo Milian made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Efraim. Lafontaine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A collision led to Lafontaine getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Donato Mederi hit a great ball. Modesto Efraim was a little too slow when Adolfo Milian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-0. When Lafontaine's Tomas Nuñez in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vikingos's goalie prevented a goal. Rodolfo Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Modesto Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Nisio took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Efraim. Modesto Efraim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Nuñez to strike the kick off in the second half. Eloy Nisio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Laurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53rd play minutes Eloy Nisio shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Modesto Efraim and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Milian in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Efraim saved Lafontaine from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Vikingos's zone, Tomas Nuñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Roldanillo came out of the goal and Tomas Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Efraim having to interfere. Modesto Efraim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Laurin in the 65th minute of the match. Lafontaine's Modesto Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Milian in the 67th minute of play. Eloy Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Modesto Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Milian in the 73rd minute of play. In the 82nd minute Adolfo Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Efraim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Nisio's late challenge caught a Lafontaine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Nisio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vikingos's Eloy Nisio got a free kick in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Lafontaine's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Milian came free, but Modesto Efraim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lafontaine's Modesto Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Milian in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lafontaine's zone, Adolfo Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Efraim came out of the goal and Adolfo Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Santos Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Vikingos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Tano to maneuver through the defense.
