Zygmunt Olchowy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Iztal in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nerylm FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emilio Frederik was slow to take the kick. During this time Quilmes A.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 16 minutes into the match, Emilio Frederik notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nerylm FC's Severiano Lauro. Severiano Lauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute Arnoldo Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Olchowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Frederik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Severiano Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Federico Stanislao fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilmes A.C.'s protests and gave Federico Stanislao a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quilmes A.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Emilio Frederik hit a great ball. Nicanor Deunoro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, one of Nerylm FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Quilmes A.C.. Emilio Frederik stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Severiano Lauro. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Dalmau during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Nerylm FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Dalmau. After a defensive mix-up in Quilmes A.C.'s zone, Cristobal Dalmau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zygmunt Olchowy came out of the goal and Cristobal Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Orlondon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severiano Lauro having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Quilmes A.C.'s Emilio Frederik fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Frederik in the 46th minute of play forced Nerylm FC's goalkeeper Severiano Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Rafael Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th match minute, Quilmes A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Stanislao to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Oinatz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Cesar Columbo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nerylm FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes A.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nerylm FC's Cesar Columbo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Emilio Frederik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Lauro having to interfere. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Emilio Frederik sped through Nerylm FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severiano Lauro. A hard shot 76 in the game by Emilio Frederik from a close distance when the talented Severiano Lauro managed to make a qualified save. Nerylm FC's players were relieved. Severiano Lauro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Frederik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 78 minute of play. Esteve Oinatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zygmunt Olchowy having to interfere. Severiano Lauro was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Emilio Frederik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emilio Frederik really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. If Emilio Frederik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quilmes A.C. played a much better game than Nerylm FC and deserved their victory. The Nerylm FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
