Severiano Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Kontšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Americo Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Fernando Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo O´connor's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Gonza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Lauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severiano Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Kontšek in the 27th minute of the match. Severiano Lauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Nerylm FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Lauro should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Daniel Kontšek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Severiano Lauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Kontšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Lauro having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nicanor Deunoro tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Severiano Lauro. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-5 in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Sportivo O´connor's Daniel Kontšek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Lauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Daniel Kontšek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Severiano Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Gonza might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Lauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, Nerylm FC's Severiano Lauro got control of the ball when Daniel Kontšek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute Sportivo O´connor were awarded a corner. Saip Tanbek went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Sportivo O´connor's Americo Avellaneda getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nerylm FC's goalkeeper Severiano Lauro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Prudencio Benat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nerylm FC and the Sportivo O´connor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Fernando Gonza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Lauro was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Daniel Kontšek took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severiano Lauro. Severiano Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Rolado in the 87th minute of play. Fernando Gonza might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Lauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
