Sportivo O´connor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Kontšek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Daniel Kontšek notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vikingos's Freddy Roldanillo. Freddy Roldanillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freddy Roldanillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Gonza's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Milian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiro Bolas was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Freddy Roldanillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Kontšek in the 20th minute of play. Tiro Bolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sportivo O´connor getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fernando Gonza hit a great ball. Vikingos's Freddy Roldanillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, Leon Miro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vikingos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo O´connor the free kick. When Daniel Kontšek came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Sportivo O´connor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Kontšek couldn't finish the play. In the 45th match minute, Vikingos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Olaf Manfeldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo O´connor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikingos the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Sportivo O´connor's Villu Reisberg got a free kick in the 57th minute. Freddy Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Kontšek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Kontšek kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Adolfo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adolfo Milian came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Vikingos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Milian couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Milian got free with Tiro Bolas in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Daniel Kontšek notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vikingos's Freddy Roldanillo. Freddy Roldanillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiro Bolas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Nisio in the 83rd minute. Sportivo O´connor's Daniel Kontšek got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Vikingos got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Tano. 86 minutes into the match, Vikingos's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Kontšek came free, but Freddy Roldanillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, Adolfo Milian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikingos and the Sportivo O´connor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Adolfo Milian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Vikingos's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Vikingos may have spent more time on the ball, but Sportivo O´connor were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
