Modesto Efraim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo O´connor. Tiburcio Aurre hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Eustaquio Rolado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo O´connor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Rolado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Sportivo O´connor's Eustaquio Rolado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Efraim. Modesto Efraim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fernando Gonza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Efraim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Daniel Kontšek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Lafontaine's goalkeeper Modesto Efraim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Kontšek. Fernando Gonza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Modesto Efraim came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Gonza slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeo Guilabertus during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 24 minutes into the game, one of Lafontaine:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 25 minutes Lafontaine's goalkeeper Modesto Efraim managed, with a little bit of luck, save Eustaquio Rolado's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 25 minutes into the game, Sportivo O´connor's Eustaquio Rolado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Efraim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Modesto Efraim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Kontšek in the 31st minute. Fernando Gonza scored 5-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Efraim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th play minute Fernando Gonza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Modesto Efraim. 6-0. In the 38th minute, Daniel Kontšek made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Efraim. Lafontaine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 42 minutes, Fernando Gonza made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lafontaine's Modesto Efraim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Nuñez was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Daniel Kontšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Efraim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Kontšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Efraim having to interfere. Modesto Efraim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Kontšek in the 64th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, Sportivo O´connor's Eustaquio Rolado made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Efraim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Modesto Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Gonza in the 75th minute of play. Lafontaine's Modesto Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Kontšek in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Daniel Kontšek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Modesto Efraim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Modesto Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lafontaine defense, Daniel Kontšek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Efraim. The Lafontaine fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Efraim should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Gonza in the 89th minute of play forced Lafontaine's goalkeeper Modesto Efraim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiro Bolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd match minute, Sportivo O´connor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Gaxan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Kontšek in the 96th minute of play forced Lafontaine's goalkeeper Modesto Efraim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sportivo O´connor had played much better football throughout.
