The audience thought a goal was coming when Zula Munko got free with Wilfredo Acevedo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the game, Los Espinillos FC's Zula Munko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilfredo Acevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Zula Munko took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Wilfredo Acevedo to make any attempt to save it. Club Atlético Maradona's Wilfredo Acevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Maradona from getting a goal against them. Wilfredo Acevedo stood somewhat misplaced when Zula Munko came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Marcus Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Carlomagno, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ricardo Mateus's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Maradona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Mateus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Los Espinillos FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ricardo Mateus hit a great ball. Marcus Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Muc in the 30th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Los Espinillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Barrionuevo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Eleder during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Orlando Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 39 minutes, Jose Muc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Maradona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Muc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Carlomagno in the 40th minute of play. Wilfredo Acevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Poli Albizua went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Club Atlético Maradona's Wilfredo Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zula Munko in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Luis Orlondon was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Club Atlético Maradona's Wilfredo Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Quilo in the 58th minute of play. Wilfredo Acevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Poli Albizua went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Jimeno Gumaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Espinillos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After 67 played minutes Los Espinillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Eleder. Los Espinillos FC's Marcus Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Los Espinillos FC from getting a goal against them. Zula Munko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Club Atlético Maradona's Jose Muc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 9-1. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 10-1 when Zula Munko sped through Club Atlético Maradona's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilfredo Acevedo. 86 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Poli Albizua came free, but Wilfredo Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Munko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11-1 became the score in the 89th minute when Zula Munko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Club Atlético Maradona's Anselmo Inocente shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcus Silva but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Guerrero in the 95th minute of play forced Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper Marcus Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Jimeno Gumaro put it in 12-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wilfredo Acevedo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Espinillos FC had played much better football throughout.
