Lamadrid's Mariano Olayo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esteban Bazkoare in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Txomin Astudillo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Esteban Bazkoare 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's Txomin Astudillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Bazkoare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Txomin Astudillo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Bazkoare saved Villa Pineral - Caseros from getting behind. Villa Pineral - Caseros's Esteban Bazkoare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txomin Astudillo in the 29th minute of play. Esteban Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txomin Astudillo in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to C. A. Gral. Lamadrid getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. The Villa Pineral - Caseros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Bazkoare should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Txomin Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Txomin Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Bazkoare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Villa Pineral - Caseros's Leon Nardo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Txomin Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Esteban Bazkoare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txomin Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Txomin Astudillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Bazkoare was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Esteban Bazkoare was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89thth minute of the game Pablo Vegetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Pineral - Caseros's Esteban Bazkoare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Vegetti in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Bazkoare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Pes got free with Nicanor Loiola in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
