Gervásio Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Turi in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Sauce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Turi to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, Sauce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Ekialde to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Octavio Turi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SportingLanus's Gervásio Lage. Gervásio Lage was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute, Baldomiro Cibran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorato Playo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Turi made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Marciano Abajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SportingLanus booed when Sauce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervásio Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from I-Made 毛帆帆, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Baldomiro Cibran put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Honorato Playo. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Baldomiro Cibran sped through Sauce's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Honorato Playo. A collision led to SportingLanus getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ubaldo Pirmin hit a great ball. Baldomiro Cibran took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Playo. Honorato Playo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. When the final whistle sounded SportingLanus left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sauce.
