Spectators: 7420 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luisito Marino started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Torres getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Guaberto Udalaitz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Torres's zone, Rômulo Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Amaya came out of the goal and Rômulo Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Guerra in the 6th minute of play forced Torres's goalkeeper Teodosio Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rômulo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Teodosio Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Luisito Marino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Torres's Teodosio Amaya. Teodosio Amaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Luisito Marino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Amaya was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 25 minutes of play, Sabalero's Rômulo Guerra made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Amaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Torres! Teodosio Amaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Guerra in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Marino in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Amaya saved Torres from getting behind. Rômulo Guerra took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodosio Amaya. Teodosio Amaya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Rômulo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Teodosio Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Torres players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sabalero were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Cristos was the one to do the kick off. Teodosio Amaya was a little too slow when Rômulo Guerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-8. After a rather tough play, Torres's Eustacio Cristos got a free kick in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Luisito Marino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teodosio Amaya. That made the score 0-11 in the 65 minute of play. In the 69th minute Luisito Marino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Amaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Amaya came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Sabalero's Rômulo Guerra. But to his dismay, Rômulo Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Teodosio Amaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84th play minutes Basilio Eneko shot 0-14, a short shot which went by Teodosio Amaya and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Torres's goalkeeper Teodosio Amaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Sabalero could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Torres throughout the match.
